I am so fortunate to work as a mental health professional. I love to listen to people's stories and collaborate to address life's hardships and challenges. 

 I have over 20 years of experience and am dually licensed in the State of Maine as both a Clinical Social Worker and a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. I offer a client-centered approach to therapy, focusing on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. 

I received my undergraduate degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and my Master of Social Work from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. I remember the first day of my first social work class being told to "meet the client where they are" and that has always been the foundation of my practice. 

I have worked as a therapist with Maine Sexual Assault Response Services and as a substance abuse counselor, specializing in opioid addiction. I have spent the past 18 years with the Department of Veteran Affairs, proudly serving in a variety of roles. I am familiar with military culture, and there is a special place in my heart for our nation's heroes. If you are dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse... I would like to listen and to help.
